We are delighted that our pop up Chartwell Charity Shop in Brixton, Acre Lane will be open for another year. The Charity Shop has grown since it first opened in December 2017. The shop, is run and managed by The CCT with the help of from wonderful team of volunteers. The shop hosts an array of good quality second-hand items and is very popular among the local community.

In collaboration with the charity shop, the House of Hygge coffee lounge and event space next door is now firmly established. HOH prides itself on offering fantastic coffee as well as a selection of beverages, snacks, yoga and events. This experiential pop-up store aims to create a relaxing, collaborative and inspiring environment, a one-stop-shop for a mind and body MOT. HOH also hosts The CCT’s King’s Childhood Cancer Support Meet-ups, workshops and even weddings!

The charity shop in Croydon University Hospital, supporting the Lily Pad Appeal is thriving and has been a fantastic success thanks to CCT’s Rachel Rogan and her amazing volunteer team. The shop also runs coffee mornings, cakes sales and raffles. It is a very busy, bustling shop and is incredibly popular with everyone who frequents the hospital. The Lily Pad Appeal is running a special Christmas Grand Draw raffle this year, and raffle tickets are available from the shop. The Draw is taking place during the Christmas Carol Concert on Wednesday 11th December in the main hospital reception by the shop. The 1st prize is £500, 2nd prize is £250 and 3rd prize is £100 plus bonus prizes. Tickets are £1 and are also available from the office.

The CCT’s newest charity shop opened in September in Tatsfield. The shop is currently open every Saturday selling a range of high quality donated items, gifts and merchandise. There are plans to open the shop during the week and we are looking for volunteers to join our friendly team.
